It shares North America with the bobcat, while the endangered Iberian lynx occurs only in Spain and Portugal, and the Eurasian lynx is found across parts of Europe and northern Asia. The Canada lynx is one of four lynx species in the world. The two lynx, possibly both male, or a male and a very disinterested female, bumped into each other in May, just after the breeding season, and seem completely oblivious to the presence of human onlookers!
